Palmers Green & Southgate Synagogue  (Brownlow Road) welcomed the return of Baron Lord Glasman  who was ennobled on the Tuesday prior to his Shul visit.
Baron Lord Glasman recited  the haftorah and following the service sponsored a Kiddush in memory of his late parents,  Rivie and Collie Glasman who were regular worshippers at the Shul for around 50 years.
Many members of the family including his wife, Lady Catherine, attended the service led by Chazan Dov Spieir and supported by the choir under the direction of Mr Stanley Davis.  In his address Rabbi Emanuel Levy spoke of  Baron  Lord Glasman’s late parents and at the Kiddush Mrs Rusty Davis, a close long standing friend of the family gave a very moving speech.
